WINE CHALICE – BLESSING OF
THE VINES
The beautiful clear and red glass
Wine Chalice used by Father Ken Robinson during the Blessing of the
Vines on April 12, 2003, at the 11th Annual Grapevine New
Vintage Wine Trail was created by David Gappa and Gary Hayes at
Grapevine’s own Vetro! GlassBlowing Studio, 334 S. Barton Street,
Suite 98. The Wine Chalice is the first of 17 wineglasses that will
be presented to the public between the Grapevine New Vintage Wine
Trail and the 17th Annual GrapeFest to be held on
September 11, 12, 13 and 14, 2003. The 17 pieces of art glass will
be the centerpoint of the 17th Annual GrapeFest
promotional poster and brochure. All 17 pieces will be offered for
sale at the Vintner’s Auction on Friday evening, September 11, at
the Lancaster Theatre. More information about Grapevine events
