DAVIS, NATIONAL RADIO PERSONALITY, VISITS LOCAL GLASS BLOWING
STUDIO
In
September 2005 during GrapeFest, the largest annual wine
festival that Grapevine Texas hosts every year, Mark Davis,
a national radio personality whose home base is WBAP
News/Talk 820, came to visit with Vetro owners David Gappa
and Gary Hayes. After browsing through the art glass gallery
and receiving the VIP studio tour, he eagerly participated
in the making of a blown vessel assisting
the artist with a blow torch.
