VETRO's contemporary
lighting installation, Elysian Shadows, was featured on 'About
Towne', an Irving-based cable program on Channel 18. The
news crew first filmed the debut of Elysian Shadows at Alpine
Gallery in Fort Worth, TX. There they interviewed art savvy
visitors as well as the original creators and designers of the
installation, David Gappa & David Elliff. Following the debut,
the camera team proceeded to the VETRO studio in Grapevine, TX where
they filmed Gappa performing the actual process of the ancient art
form of glassblowing with a beautiful large cobalt blue rondel.
