Vetro Supporting the Wounded Warriors

Posted by

Vetro Glassblowing Studio & Fine Art Gallery today announces that during 2019, we will be supporting the United States Veterans by offering glassblowing classes through the Wounded WarriorProject Program.

The Wounded Warrior Project is designed to offer unique opportunities for companies to take action and step up for these men and women through supporting the Wounded Warriors mission, “The mission of Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. Our vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.”  Vetro offers these warriors a unique opportunity to learn the art of glassblowing. Event participants can help create a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art glass and have a one-of-a-kind experience that is interactive, challenging and mind freeing; perfect for our warriors.

Every step we take will empower wounded warriors as they take on their next mission.

South Carolina Chandelier

“I have found that the passion of my life is working with the shifting energies of molten glass into its final stages of artistic completion. I choose glass as an artistic medium for many reasons: the complexity of color and light; the classic beauty of glass; the challenging mental and physical discipline required; and the poetic and seductive nature of molten glass. The creation of each piece is a journey as I strive to trust in the path the glass chooses for me…a trail of color, form, and function.”

David Gappa’s illuminating Fine Art Glass Chandelier is a perfect example of how he continually is showcasing his talents in homes all across the US.  Take a peek at this time-lapse video of David Gappa and his team in South Carolina installing this amazing glass chandelier!

Thank you Dwan Perrin from Life.Family.Joy for coming out and creating a hand-blown Christmas Ornament with our team! We love that you have included us in your blog!

“I absolutely LOVE how my glassblowing Christmas ornament came out. I purchased a small stand to hold it instead of putting it on my Christmas tree. I place to keep it on display year-round in my office.”

Dwan was so sweet and has written some pretty amazing things about Vetro, to check out the full article click on the link below.
